3D printing technology for tissue: Bayreuth researchers combine hydrogels and fibres in a new technology

In collaboration with other researchers from Uni Bayreuth and Max Planck Insitute, Prof. Ionov has developed a device that combines 3D bioprinting and touch spinning technology. This patented invention has led to the establishment of a start-up company: "biovature GmbH", under the leadership of PD Dr. habil. Alla Synytska (co-founder and CEO).
